Phoenix

The adult form of one of the Royal Family members.

The Royal Family are the rulers of the Monster Kingdom. They kill off each other until there is one left standing. The reason for this, is because once they mature, or "Become an Adult," they become immortal Phoenixes, so they kill each other before it's too late. By making them drink their blood (Flame of Life, in anime) , they resurrect dead worthy enough to be their half-immortal "Blood Warriors." The blood warriors have to keep drinking the Royals' blood every few days, or they will die, and cannot be resurrected again. It is very rare for a member of the Royal Family to have a human or a vampire as a blood warrior, and can be to some very shocking. They are not allowed to resurrect someone they have killed themselves, nor are they allowed to have an army.

Members

There are eight siblings in the Royal Family introduced so far.

• Eldest to youngest: Duken(Killed by sylvia 9 years in the future), Sylvia, Gilliam(Killed by Duken 9 years in the future), Salieri(Deceased), Emile(killed by chronic illness), Severin(killed by Hime), Lillianne, and Sherwood.

Members of the Royal Family are all given androids.

Blood Warriors

• Hiro, Hime's Blood Warrior, a human.
• Mermaid, unknown name.Emile's Blood Warrior, a mermaid.
• Mikasa, killed by Severin, then revived as a Blood Warrior by him, despite the rules. Later became Sylvia's Blood Warrior after Severin's death, suggested by the Fly Man. Human, but with a parasite nano-weapon implanted in her head by the Fly Man.
• Kiniski, Sylvia's Blood Warrior until he betrayed her. Nicknamed "Werewolf Killer Kiniski," a vampire.
• Ryu Ryu, Sherwood's Blood Warrior (only Blood Warrior in manga). A panda from the zoo.
